On Saturday October 19, 2013, the 4th Annual ABCCM CLASSIC CAR SHOW (a fund raiser for the Veteran's Restoration Quarters) will be held on the grounds of the VRQ - Veterans' Restoration Quarter - 1329 Tunnel Road, Asheville, NC. 28805. Exit 55 off Interstate 40, go to Hwy 70 west and turn Left. The Veterans' Restoration Quarters is located 1/4 mile on the left.
Pre-registration to enter the car show is $20.00 by October 1st for a drawing for 2 tickets to the Biltmore Estate. Biltmore Estate Registration is $25 on the Day of the Event and is limited to the first 100 cars.
Check in and registration is open at 9:00 AM. The award presentation ceremony will begin at 1:30 PM.
Trophies will be presented to the Top Ten Cars. A Special Trophy for the Veteran's Choice Award.
Each entered vehicle will receive a ticket for a GM Crate Motor drawing. In addition many, many door prizes will be given throughout the day to registrants! And, a 50/50 drawing (by American Legion Post 526) will be available.
Biscuits, donuts and coffee will be available at 9:00 AM. Lunch, drinks and concessions will be available in our "center court".
Although this event is identified as a CLASSIC CAR SHOW, a few Ridgerunner Miatas would certainly qualify as CLASSY.
There will not be an organized drive to the event. Just call other members and drive on out to the VRQ - Veterans' Restoration Quarters. Everyone is encouraged to go support this event. Even if you elect not to enter your Miata, the car show is FREE to everyone who is interested in checking out the Classic Cars. If you are planning to go, please sign up below.
